Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Before LPGA Debut
The rising star maintains impressive social media presence
The young golfer can count on multiple well-known cheerleaders when she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to play at the Annika tournament in Florida.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates several golf courses and frequently matches against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she revealed.
Kai explained that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa basically advised me to play and relax," she continued.
"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, making him rather occupied."
Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and has ranking 461 in AJGA listings.
Yet she can get advice from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with her mother.
"He is the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to compete, have fun, adapting to whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, such as second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers mentioned that involving Kai exposes golf to wider groups, specifically reaching younger fans.
Kai boasts millions of followers and has started an exclusive apparel and wellness label.
Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
