Palestinian-American Youth Freed After Nine-Month Period in Israeli Imprisonment

An Palestinian-American adolescent having endured 270 days in Israeli detention absent formal charges gained freedom.

A group of American legislators endorsed a document to the state department and the administration, demanding more be done to secure his release.
The father, a father-of-four operating an ice cream shop based in Tampa, had earlier stated his child admitted guilt regarding stone throwing because the soldiers beat him.
The father hadn't visited nor direct contact since February, learning information solely regarding the treatment through judicial records.
He stayed without charge in Ofer prison on the West Bank.
The facility also contains grown detainees, some of whom have been convicted of serious terrorism offences and homicide.
