Cameron Norrie achieved the most important success of his professional journey by rebounding from a set down to defeat top-ranked player Carlos Alcaraz 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the second round of the Paris Masters.

Even though he had before overcome Alcaraz on two occasions, this victory represents Norrie's first ever win over a reigning world top-ranked player.
