Liverpool's Star Extends Statement to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has shared that Mohamed Salah apologised to the group of players in the wake of the fallout from his public comments.

He was omitted from a European match subsequent to voicing frustrations and suggesting his relationship with manager had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I apologise.’”
The manager has chosen not to comment publicly on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.

The player stated that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “Nothing about him changed, he was smiling and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.
Jones also suggested that a player's desire to start is preferable. “It's clear there are different methods you can handle situations,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
Team Form
Liverpool's form have been impressive in the matches since the situation. The player is convinced the outburst were never meant to cause disruption.
“If passion has boiled over, it’s always been from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and securing victories.”
