Edwards has a winning mentality, meaning there is little chance of the team having modest ambitions. Yet, externally they find themselves in a somewhat uncommon situation with a well-defined expectation for the event.
Competition Outlook
Falling short of the semis could be a slight surprise, despite the improvement among the traditional also-rans. Advancing to the ultimate game before Australia or India, the two clear favourites to win the competition, would mark a significant accomplishment. And if England win it… it's best not to entertain that thought. It’s far too soon for that sort of talk.
