Comedian and author David Walliams lost his contract with longtime publisher.
Prolific children's author and comedian David Walliams has parted ways with his UK book publisher, the company has said.
A representative for the company commented: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing additional books by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the move was made after an review of claims about questionable actions towards women.
The publisher did not confirm the reasons for its decision, noting: "We do not comment on private personnel issues."
A Prolific Writing Journey
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, with sales exceeding in excess of 60 million copies internationally in five dozen languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
Several of his works, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into television films.
He has published over four dozen titles combined, including a holiday title called *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins this past October.

His career breakthrough occurred on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE in 2017 for his services to philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
This development follows the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO in October.
