On Monday, the court learned call records and data obtained from phones documented Ms Wandelt consistently requesting Madeleine's mother for a biological test throughout the past two years.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - at the age of three during a family holiday in Portugal - is one of the most widely reported investigations and continues to be open.

'I Do Not Need Money'

Another voicemail, played in court, captured Ms Wandelt declaring: "I know I'm overweight and not pretty like Madeleine used to be, but I feel what I know."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's answerphone expressed: "Imagine there is a slight possibility that I am Madeleine? Then what? Isn't that significant for you?"

"I do not need money, I have a existence here in Poland, I just want to know," the recording stated.

The panel was told that via emails, text messages and calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a genetic test, forwarded early photographs to her phone in a bid to show a resemblance to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and claimed to have "recollections" from a youth with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, a data specialist with the police force who compiled the data, informed the court there "showed no any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore reached out to acquaintances of the McCanns, according to the call data.

On that date, Mr McCann responded to a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "the wrong phone."

During that incident Ms Wandelt deposited a message on Mrs McCann's recording stating "I will continue and I intend to demonstrate my position."

The court learned Mrs Spragg established a association online with Ms Wandelt prior to assisting her on a appearance to the McCanns' residence in Leicestershire in that winter.

Call logs demonstrated Mrs Spragg had communicated via messaging service to Mrs McCann to state the media had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "mentally unstable" but that she ought to be considered genuine in the time leading up to the appearance to Rothley, that area, in December 2024.

The court heard message exchanges between the two accused, in that autumn, discussing attempting to get Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her bins or from silverware at a restaurant.

"We must take action," the co-defendant informed Ms Wandelt.

On the night of the trip to their residence, Mrs Spragg dispatched a message which expressed: "We find ourselves sat adjacent to the McCanns' home with our lights out similar to detectives. I wanted to accomplish this with Peter Andrew I never thought I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."

The case continues.
